What this site does for you

Hi! I'm Paul Marshall and I own Smart Home Buyers DFW.Com. My office offers Home Loans for Texas properties.

My goal with this site is to help educate and empower homebuyers (and those refinancing their homes). You don't have to accept bad service or getting ripped-off as the price of buying or refinancing your home!

When I'm choosing someone to do business with, I look for VALUE and SERVICE.

So, I developed my Price Match Guarantee to save you stress and hassle when getting a home loan. See my Price Match Guarantee page for all the details.

And you aren't charged a Mortgage Broker Fee or Broker Administration Fee (which I consider junk fees). Dealing directly with the lender eliminates the "middleman" costs. This saves you money.

I want you to feel comfortable with the cost of your loan through my office and will compete with any legitimate offer you may receive from someone else. I don't want you to have to sacrifice integrity or service, just for a great rate!


Loan Products available to you

Being a Branch Manager for Network Funding L.P. headquartered in Houston, I have literally dozens of lenders I can use, with hundreds of loan programs combined.

Maybe you want to lower your interest rate and monthly house payment by refinancing. Or, maybe you want to cash out some of your home's equity to pay off high-interest credit cards and to consolidate your bills.

Of course, I've got loans available for homebuyers, including first-time homebuyers.

All of these loans types are available for different types of homes--single-family homes, condos, townhouses, and multi-family homes, including duplexes.

You don't have to have perfect credit to get a loan, even a no down payment loan. No down payment loans are available for many borrowers with credit scores as low as 560!

Loans are offered which do not require income documentation. This may be very important, particularly if you are self-employed.

My office also offers the Government loans programs--VA (for veterans) and FHA (for the general public).

Most importantly--I will help you understand your choices in plain English, so you can choose the right type of loan programs for your needs and financial goals!


About working with your Realtor®

The real estate agent you choose will impact the kind of experience you have finding a home and negotiating a price fair to you. I am pleased to offer referrals, when I have competent, trustworthy agents who work in the area in Texas you want to buy.

I will certainly work with any agent you find on your own.

If you have a good agent you are using, please have them contact me. I'm always looking for competent, trustworthy agents I can offer to my clients as referrals. That's how important GOOD real estate agents are!!

Working closely with your agent, I can help keep your move-in costs between $500 and $1,700, depending on the loan program and home you choose. This counts ALL closing costs, any possible down payment, Realtor® commissions, and lender fees (including my office's income).

(Of course, all loan program require lender approval according to their underwriting guidelines.)

I pride myself on being accessible, returning calls, following through to get the loan closed and the transaction funded, and always explaining your choices in an understandable manner. When required, I'm available to take your phone calls evenings and weekends, too.
